Im thinkin about something different...

I think well actually I already decided that I'm going to start another blog, but its gonna be TOTALLY different and im pretty stoked.

the past few weeks

So the past few weeks i've had lot of fun. My brother in law came up from St. George with his wife and kids. It was so nice to see them. We haven't seen them in quite a couple of months so it was nice. Matt and I got the chance to go to Lagoon with our neighbors. It was so nice to get away for a day and ride some roller coasters even though it was really hot and WAY busy. We just happen to come on the sunday where it was buy 1 get 1 free. Not really a great idea, but it was still fun. We then celebrated Jessica's birthday. The big 15! She's getting so old. Johnny just barely got his license and now in just a year Jessica will be getting hers. Life just goes by so fast. Kyree is now 3 months old. She is making great eye contact and starting to "talk". She loves to stand up. When ever we try to lay her o her back she tries to life herself up. She's getting so strong and so big. I can't believe she is growing up so fast. So another exciting thing that happened in our life is that I finally found a job. My preschool class didn't work out so I got the job at Vivint. I started on Monday and so far I LOVE it. My boss is really nice and cool and so are my fellow employes. Oh and Matt got another job too! So now I feel like our life is really turning around. We'll be able to move out soon and just live happily ever after. :) Things are looking up for us and I couldn't be happier.

babcock reunion

Well last week was family reunion time. We left for Bear Lake right after Kyree's blessing. We stayed at a lodge called Elk Ridge. Some of the other family's stayed at a lodge called Red Cedar and then the Razzberry Inn house. I had so much fun. On sunday, when we got there, we all went to the Razzberry Inn and did a little questionaire game. It was pretty fun. We had to guess who the person was, but you couldn't guess anyone that was in your immediate family. So that was pretty hard for me because I didn't really know a lot of the people. I was just meeting them for the first time. Anyway, Then on Monday we went to the beach. We went boating. Matt tried surfing on the back of the boat and I was too scared so I didn't. Then later that night we had a scrum pasta dinner and then everyone went to Pickelville Playhouse. My sister-in-law, Michelle, and I stayed home to watch our babies. :) Plus we got to watch Hell's Kitchen so that was nice. Then on Tuesday while everyone went to some cave and hike, a few of us went boating. Michelle, Matt, Jessica, Brody, Kyree, Cathy, Clarissa, Joe, Scott, Katie, and Uncle Bob oh and of course me. It was nice. Kyree and Brody loved the boat. Kyree would kinda cry when we were stopped and then as soon as we started going she loved it. This time I got the courage to try surfing. The water was FREEZING but as soon as I got in and got used to it I was just fine. It took me a while to get up on the surf board, but I eventually got up. 3 times actually. haha I couldn't stay up for very long, but hey at least I got up. After boating I was pooped so we just sat around and chilled. Some people were doing some classes. I attended the music appreciation class with Kyle and Emily. They played their guitars and sang. They were absolutely amazing. That was the first time I heard Kyle sing. Boy do they have an amazing voice. After that we all had a hot dog dinner at the Razzberry Inn. We played some games after and then we all went to bed. The next morning we all packed up and left. Overall I had a great time. I got super sunburned and super sore, but I loved every minute of it. :) as always here are some pics in a slide show. :)

kyree's blessing

Sunday was Kyree's blessing day. It was a very nice day and I wanted some family pics done so I asked my sister Kendra to take some. They turned out great. I love them. We didn't do any lunch thing after because we were heading to Bear Lake for our family reunion. Well here are some pics!

today was a hard day for. kept thinking about all the bad and wrong things happening in my life. the struggles we face everyday, but all that did was make me depressed. so i thought i would look up some quotes to try and brighten my day.

I love being a mom!

I just can't get over it! I just love it! My baby Kyree girl is just so beautiful. She has so much of Matt in her and now she's starting to get a little like me. Well so some say. Being a mom always has its hardships, but everytime I look into her eyes my heart just melts. I just can't believe matt and I created such a beautiful baby girl. I'm prepared for all the many more hardships to come in our new life, but its all so worth it to have this beautiful girl in our life. I sure love you Kyree Melissa Babcock.

so we were messin around the other day and my sister in law May had these cute glasses. they were too small for her, so we put them on Kyree and... perfect fit! haha I have the cutest baby ever.

birthday weekend

so this last weekend was my birthday! im finally 20 and no longer a teenager. :) so over the weekend matt's parents took us to dinner. i got to choose and of course i chose TEXAS ROADHOUSE!! i LOVE that place. its so yummy. i had a great birthday. on sunday i made meatloaf for dinner. it was really good. im glad it turned out ok cause it was definitley my first time making it. we then had my little family party. overall i had a great weekend. kaci got matt and i a gift card to the movies and a day to watch kyree. im pretty sure she'd watch kyree any day though. I got kaci an itunes gift card cause she now was the iphone 4. which i am pretty jealous about. well like always here are some pics. :)

Today was Kyree's first time swimming. It was so fun! Plus she loved it. At first she was a little scared, but once she got all wet she loved it. I think i loved it more than her though. She just makes me smile. Here are some pics.

New Blog

Yep, so I decided to make a new blog. This time I'm going to keep up on it. Promise ;) My sister Kaci pretty much gave me the idea. She made a new blog because she got married and I decided to make a new blog cause we have a new edition to our family. Yep Kyree is finally here. Well actually she's been here. I'm just a little late on the updating.
So Kyree was born on May 28th, 2011. It all started when I went into the doctor's on the 25th. Matt asked our doctor how long after the due date would they induce me. She replied with "How about we induce you on your due date?" Matt and I looked at each other and said "YES" immediately. She then called the hospital to make sure there was an opening. it just so happens that it was totally full. She then asked "what about Friday?" (the 27th). They said there was an opening, so they scheduled us in. We were so thrilled to finally meet our baby girl. When Friday came around we still hadn't heard from the hospital to tell us when to come in. Matt called them and they said that they were totally full because so man women went into labor during the night. They said to just plan on coming in Saturday morning at 7. We were pretty bummed. we went to bed that night eager to get up early and head to the hospital. Then to our surprise, around 6am we get a call from the hospital telling us that they were to full again and that they would call us when there was an opening. I was so upset. I was so eager to meet my little girl and they just kept getting my hopes up and then crashing them down. It was only about 3 hours later when we got another call. They finally said to be there by 10:30am. We then gathered all our things and headed straight there. Finally we were so close to meeting our girl. When we got there I was already dilated at a 4. At 11am they started with the inducing. 1 o' clock came around and they broke my water. It was all up hill from there. I got my epidural around 2 or 3 I can't remember exactly. Then about 5:30 I was dilated at a 10. The doc's then said at 6 we can start pushing. 6 came around and by 6:28 pm Kyree Melissa Babcock was born. I had such a nice labor. I felt no pain. The whole aftermath of the labor was the worst part for me. Kyree has been such a blessing in our lives. We can't imagine life without her. The world pretty much revolves around her. I am so grateful for my husband. he has been such a great father and helper. I couldn't have asked for anyone better.

Kyree is doing so good now. She has her 2 month appointment at the end of this month. She is smiling a lot more and getting so good at holding her head up. Here's some pics to prove it. :)
